Well, it has officially happened. All of the back door meetings with congressional staffers (while the congress was on recess) must have really paid off for the Ol' Commish Craig Thompson. While I certainly want the MWC included in the AQ of the BCS, and an opportunity for my team to have a shot at playing into the NC game, I think his proposal is, although easy to grasp, a little thin on detail to get much of a legitimate response. Moreover, he forgot the Big East in footnote 4. Although this may be nitpicking, if you are trying to get someone to make a change to a billion dollar concept, you need to make sure each and every word is carefully selected, punctuation perfect, and certainly not missing an AQ conference.
