Do the Gintz have New Orleans' 1st pick? are the 2nd and 5th picks that the Giants own convertable to the 1st pick?
The G Men should have snagged T.O. while they had the chance.
And soon to be jailbird Burress is any better? T.O.'s not out at clubs shooting himself.
They should go after Torry Holt for the year and draft Kenny britt from Rutgers.

No one saying do anything with Plax. T.O. is a problem in the locker room which in turn causes problems on the field. Everyone knows that. He's done it on every team he has been on. An you think T.O. won't ride Eli if he doesn't throw him the ball every down? He's a media nightmare for the Giants. They can still trade for a receiver and pick up a good receiver in the draft(hopefully).
I would love to see Tory Holt working with Smith and Hixson...Just be too funny seeing Eli throwing to Marvin. We do need a Vet because they are always reliable on a 3rd down... We don't have anyone a opposing Def would respect with double coverage, that's what killed us when plax put a bullet in his leg...Marvin or Tory can still draw double coverage at their age.

that is a good point.
TO may have locker room EGO issues, but atleast he has never been in legal trouble....marshawn lynch is the bills REALL problem that no one realizes,, hes been arrested twice

no obviously you dont realize.
TO didnt shoot himself in this thing called a leg...so he can run, and thus play football.

We should just trade for Boldin at this point, and then draft another receiver or let one of our young guys (Manningham, Moss) step into the #2 position. Smith needs to stay in the slot.

I know it's all said and done but Eli has the perfect temperment to ignore/put up with T.O.'s
ranting and raving. All Owens wants to do is win. The teams he's contributed to have had their share of wins (if it weren't for McNabb the Eagles would have had a SB ring). I don't think that even T.O. REALLY expects to see the ball EVERY down. Face it, the man can play, even if
he's an a**h**e. We'll see who the G Men end up with but I guarantee they won't see that kind of production.
I hope they get Torry Holt, I feel like he could defintely sub in for Plax until he comes back, and then he'd be a great #2 and Smith will continue to be a good slot receiver. However, if they are still looking to package picks together for Boldin or B. Edwards I would be fine with that also. Just don't trade Mathias "The Love Doctor" Kiwanuka
Torry Holt would be a smart pickup. Harrison? Nah. Go with Holt and take the best available receiver in the first round.
I say the Gmen try to take some of their draft picks and trade up for a higher pick at WR. We could possibly get high enough to get jeremy maclin. If we can't do that I say we try to trade for Boldin or Edwards, both are young enough to make a large impact if Plax can't return.
Holt is a better pickup than Harrison. Harrison's had a great career, but he's on the downhill slide now. Boldin would be best, but I think it would cost too much in the long run. If Mannigham can man up this year, he could be our next surprise weapon.

If you read what i wrote you would see I did NOT make a comparison between T.O. and Plax. I never said anything about T.O. not being a good "replacement" for Plax. I was saying that the Giants did NOT need a headache named T.O. in the locker room. Obviously the Giants agreed with that logic since they did NOT go after T.O.

I don't doubt T.O.'s talent. The problem I see with him is when he has spats with coaches and or QB's it winds up all over the media. NY is a big media market so imagine what kind of headache that would cause for the rest of the team. Yea Eli can shrug it off.....but the whole team doesn't have his temperament. You see how all the extra media attention down the line affected the team last year. There's no good reason to pick up a guy that can be that big of a distraction.

Pick up Boldin or Holt and draft Kenny Britt. I think the Giants would be in a good position with that.
Looks like their defense is only going to be better, so they'll just have to protect the ball and not make stupid mistakes and should be ok. Wouldn't hurt to have some more effective offensive play calling going on.
Ok terry holt or marvin harrison is not the answer. Jerry R. has two plans. Plan A plex comes back and we draft another receiver in the first Round (in case the cheddar bob from 8mail of the nfl shoots himself again) and a linebacker in the second and we are set. If plex gets locked up harder then eli in the eagles ga,e (I like eli but he had a bad game) we will trade draft picks for A. boldin or B. edwards and draft a complimentart receiver or linebacker in the picks we have left and we are set. I promise you this is the plan giants fans wait and see another ring is around the corner. Two out of three aint bad!!!!
