NCAAB  > General NCAAB  > Memphis get's beat up because of C-USA. Is C-USA really THAT weak?

Here's the thing: We hear it all year - Memphis plays in a weak conference and therefore we don't know exactly how good they'll be come tournament time. Sometimes it's "They'll drop out early due to they haven't really been tested in over a month, playing all those weak C-USA teams.

Is C-USA really that weak? Just because Memphis totally dominates all the teams, blowing them out on a regular basis?

C-USA certainly isn't the ACC or the Big East (so all you fans of those leagues don't start puttin them down just because they aren't your league), but I happen to believe that C-USA is better than what they get credit for, Memphis just isn't helping them by dominating like that, plus they need to win out of league a little more to get some more respect.

I'd like to ask Michigan St (who Memphis thrashed by 30 points in the Sweet 16 last year) if they think just because Memphis beats up on teams should they be considered weak or is Memphis just that good? (and Michigan wasn't the only team dominated last year by Memphis that was from a "good" conference)

Your thoughts?
