NFL  > Houston Texans  > Texans shouldnt pick up Chris Beanie Wells
March 20, 2009, 05:54 PM
Steve Slaton is the man why do we need Beanie....Steve isnt the biggest back but Beanie isnt the most reliable either....The Texans should go defense....I think they should go Cornerback or D-line then address RB for back up purposes...

Im glad you think so... nobody on the planet that has a clue about the houston texans think we will even look at an offensive player in the first two rounds. o and cornerback is out of the question in the first. possibly a dt but more likely an olb depending on where the whos available and where they are ranked on the texans board. read a little bit more about the team then try reposting again cheif...

Read a little bit more....I got my information off of nfl.com mock draft.....Why is a cornerback out of the question.....Texans shouldnt have given up Greenwood, Furthermore Robinson isnt happy being franchised...Who do u have if Robinson gets hurt Faggins....Good luck u need a DB they could pick up LB 2nd round. Its gonna be hard enough trying to run on Ryans and Smith they need coverage personell....SMART GUY!

well, try checking some articles from chron.com (ie the HOUSTON chronicle). by the way faggins wasnt resigned (i think hes in miami interviewing). which cb exactly are you so gung ho about that is valuable enough to take with the 15th pick in the draft? i dont see any up there more valuable than a clay matthews or peria jerry. ill make this easy on you:
http://blogs.chron.com/nfl/2009/03/check_out_my_new_mock_draft.html

thats john mcclains mock. hes been covering football in houston for 30 years and has the best inside info on the texans. here is a chat that i think you should also read a bit, lots of answers for you:
http://blogs.chron.com/nfl/2009/03/live_texans_and_nfl_draft_chat.html

so again read a little bit more then try reposting. o and i imagine they would go back to the starters they had when dunte was out the beginning of last season (reeves n bennett w/ molden). after all nobody NOBODY can cover at the nfl level without a solid pass rush. there is NO cb in the nfl that cant be carved up when an nfl qb isnt hurried. so from this smart guy to you, im here for you if you need any more of my help...

I dont need your help I said that the Texans dont need to take "Beanie" as a first round draft pick ,I also said that they need to go "defense" D-Line or CB.(via secondary)......I got my info from nfl.com mock draft. U dont remember when Reeves was getting roasted in the end zone because he wasnt big enough? They just brought in Anotino Smith im pretty sure for pass rush purposes. Furthermore, I dont know a John McClains and just because he's been covering football in Houston for 30yrs dont make him the best!

on John McClain, when you have intimate ties with the organization, the scouts, and the city of houston, ties that formed over 30 years of covering, it does make you the best. you should become intimately familiar with him before you make any statements about the texans intentions. he is houston's inside man. and "nfl.com mock draft" is just about as valuable as the dump i took this morning. there are probably 20 reporters working there all of which with there own mock drafts, none of which got any information from anyone remotely close to the organization. they have there bachelors in the nfl in general, while mcclain has his doctorate in houston texans football, so to speak. its not just mcclain there are other well established houston sports writers who will fill ya in.
o and on reeves, he wasnt getting beat because he was to small, it was his technique. he wasnt turning his head around and locating the football. here is another article for you to read:
http://blogs.chron.com/nfl/2009/03/the_numbers_say_reeves_better_1.html
check the numbers before you make sweaping statements. where do you get this stuff? again, anytime you need my help im here for ya buddy...
