NBA  > General NBA  > The Hardest Record in the NBA
March 23, 2009, 10:53 PM
Their are many individual records in the NBA that seem untouchable. Wilt's 100, Wilt averaging over 50 PPG in a season but one record I feel will not be broken for a long time is Big O's record of averaging a Triple Double throughout a season in 61-62.

I know it was a different era, different game perhaps easier competetion but if it was that easy their should have been more instances of it happening or almost happening.

The figures 30.8 PPG, 12.5 RPG +11.4 APG. In the words of the Great MC Hammer, "Can't Touch This" :)

Ironically he did not win MVP, he lost to some 'looser' named Bill Russell.
