NFL  > Denver Broncos  > My apologies to Cry Me a Rivers!
April 1, 2009, 12:19 AM
I would like to formally apologize to San Diego and Mr. Cry Me a Rivers.

You we're right!

Coming from a Bronks fan that is hard to say, but we have to respect that.

People may think McD is doing something wrong, but no my friends, he is not. He is bringing competition between players wanting to make the team, teamwork, and hard nose football back to Denver. As Mr. Lombardi best said: "Football is like life, it requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work sacrifice, dedication and respect for AUTHORITY."

I am a Cutler fan, but a player is not above the team, and now I will placing my Cutler jersey online for .99 cents if anyone is interested?

Denver Drama is too much for me, I miss hard working players that are out there for the love of the sport.

Lets bring back the Orange Crush and forget about a star individual. Elway never did it by himself, it wasn't until the TEAM developed that Denver claimed a title. Who cares about stats, pro bowls, passing yards, touch downs, potential, arm strength, a decade at a position that can be ruined in one game due to injury, ect...

So I ask you, what is your prediction on the trades, acquisitions, and draft picks now for our Donks!?

for all you grammar freaks, You we're right!, the apostrophe was caused by beer!

April 1, 2009  03:43 AM ET

Wow you managed to reason this out pretty well, I was just complaining on some other threads about this. Cutler didn't do himself any favours. Would like for his sake to see him go to Minni so at least he gets a chance to prove himself that he can win a championship if he clearly isn't going to do it with us and with Minnis' window closing fast and Denver not really championship calibre right now wouldn't harm us really. I really think Cleveland where he'll either make them respectable or waste away putting up numbers, but never getting anywhere. I'd say they shoot for Quinn and try to somehow land either Rogers or they're first round pick. Either straight up if the bidding is fierce enough or giving away a later pick nothing higher than 3 or I'd scrap the deal (we have two 3rd round picks right?)

In regards to your Cutler jersey comment I can't afford to spring for it all my money is being saved up for an Atwater jersey (if I can find one). Already got my Lynch one which I wear with pride. Would've liked to see him have played for us last year, even if he was slow it's not like our safeties were any better than a sort of has been and future career backups (apart from Barrett never saw him play can blame Canada for that).

April 1, 2009  04:04 AM ET

You're right you know maybe that's what McD was thinking originally when trying to trade him, though if he was he was grossly underselling him. Btw people are whining about how Cutler is a cry baby and should just man up, but isn't McD kinda doing the same thing by being an arrogant **** and not trying really to mend fences. I kinda feel he always wanted Cutler out and rolled the dice to see who'd loose they're job first with this scenario. I feel he had this all planned out in his sick and twisted head, if this is true he really is a bellicheat prodigy

April 1, 2009  06:23 AM ET

Or maybe McD royally **** up.

Maybe, but I think he's just a little too crafty for that he had this planned out from the beginning

April 1, 2009  12:53 PM ET

#4 LynchtheD -- I have been saying it for over a month that this was planned out and McDaniel is Belicheat`s clone!! Now this franchise will be screwed up for a long, long time. Belichick wins again!!!!

Cutler not calling or answering calls reminds me of hormonal high school girlfriends.

well i will let you know the ebay outcome. Maybe someone will buy it just to burn it?

It just kind of felt like all we needed to do was put together something that kind of resembled a defense. Now we have to start all the way over.

Did you know Cutler's record when the D gives up less than 21 points is 13-0.

Who is going to QB this team? Vick? Sounds better than most options I've heard.

April 1, 2009  03:15 PM ET

What ever makes you sleep better at night Pow!

April 1, 2009  03:53 PM ET

I think you're missing the details that they've beend trying for 10 days to actually talk to Cutler but Cutler keeps throwing up his agent. I think McD has earnestly tried.

pretty good post about it here..

Please! No more VICK proposals! AHHH I can not stand that. Lets just make the team a bigger laughing stock than it already is. Marshall trouble, Cry Baby Jay, New Born Coach, Shanny firing...what else can we come up with!? Vick drives Stick Bronco to border after shooting wife?

Vick is not totally unrealistic. He will be cheap, talented, buff from jail, and would fit into McD's scheme. If anything it would be interesting to watch if we run a dual QB system with Vick and Simms.

April 1, 2009  05:23 PM ET

Bowlen is going to regret hiring his prepubescent coach and Cutler will make someone a winner.

April 1, 2009  05:49 PM ET

The re-build was Bolwen's plan as soon as he decided to sack Mike and hire a young coach who has been among winning (not going to argue the cheat to win aspect) organizations. Bowlen hung with Mike for a few too many years, as the league has his game plan covered. Cutler openly began his ranting at the onset of Shanahans firing. He could have at that point actually shown leadership to the team but he didn't and he's stuck to his me-first, emotions and feelings spoiled-brat antics (egged on by his agent -- who's only out for the $$). Now McDaniels has certainly shown his arrogant youth and hormonal tendancies as well, and he's not off on the right foot for Denver fans for sure. So now it needs to get back to the business of building a winning team defense and offense that plays under a new system. I'll bet the Broncos are in a division title game before Cutler (where ever he lands), and I'll bet that Cutler never gets over himself to be a team leader, so he never gets a ring.

April 1, 2009  05:54 PM ET

Cutler needs to go to the Jets where he will either mature(less likely) or leave the game(more likely) when the NY press and fans work him over.

April 1, 2009  05:58 PM ET

Wow POW, dont even know what to say, we have not seen eye to eye on Cutler.

Nice realistic post

The other Cutler fanbois in Denver are saying that that record was 13-1 when they gave up less than 21 points...
