no, u just bout hit it right on. we have descent LB's, but we dont have youth or speed. we have the LBs that just know the game and are smart on my oppinion. but they are not as explosive or talented as many other outside LB's. thats why im hoping they go after somebody like brian cushing . he has good hands , he is fast and i think he would fit in with our new defense....but on the other hand we still could use a guy like malcom jenkins or vontae davis. but i have trust in the secondary we have, just hope they stay healthy...

Yea you pretty much nailed it. Vilma's a stud on the inside but Fujita is on the downside of his career and we could definitely upgrade over Shanle. Simoneau is out of the mix. We do need a good young safety along Harper but LB is the top priority, in my opinion.

Cushing would be a nice addition, even Maualuga but he's not projected to go as high as the Saints 14th pick. Either one would be a huge addition. I think we have the depth, as all teams do, just not the quality that's gonna get it done.

That's what I thought. However if they take a USC backer I'd prefer Clay Matthews. A little faster than Cushing and better instincts in pass coverage. Or if we are lucky enough maybe get the OLB from University of Cincinnati in the 4th round (can't think of his name just now).

The Aints are 262-375-5 .395. Thats 113 games below .500. No one cares about the losers from WhoDat country.

I've said many times the problem with our defense is that we lack a true force at nose tackle...the anchor of a 4-3 defense is the interior line...If a nose tackle in a 4-3 can't pull a double team consistently...he will cripple the whole defense...if Coach Williams wants to make an impact...he will get a legit nose tackle that can dominate the A gap and leave the B gap available for our Mike or Will linebacker to do what they want...
This will also make our secondary better...as a former DB...I can tell you...when you can't put pressure on the QB...it leaves you vulnerable and even the best DB's will look bad...last year and before that...our opposing QB's had TOO much time to decide what to do with the ball...

DRAFT A TRUE NOSE TACKLE...Sedrick Ellis will also flourish (and I mean really wreak havoc) when paired with a true nose tackle...

the past doesnt matter 'americas team' and if it did i could ask you this when was the last time the cowboys won a play off game the answer is 96 we went to the nfc championship in 06 and in the same year we whipped yal ok fine the past matters alot but still

i like vilma and fugita there beast, but i think shanle is the problem, thats y i wouldn mind getting cushing. i wouldn mind getting vonte davis for a cb ether

I work with a guy who thinks that Shanlee is a good player but I don't agree. We need another stud LB and probably another good CB. I just have the sinking feeling we're going to end up with Benie Wells.

I fear they take Beanie too. Being from Ohio I've seen him play alot. In my opinion he has skill but I question his toughness. Too many times he's had the opportunity to lower a shoulder and get 2 or 3 extra yards almost just by falling forward. Instead he steps out of bounds! Add those up and you can go from a good back to a 1000 yarder. And way too often he'll stand on the sidelines nursing a bruise. For first round money he'd better man up.

Americas' Team worry about your own. I mean your team has guys on it that shoot themselves a la Burress.

America's team? Cowgirls? Dramaboys? If they were more concerned about making plays instead of headlines they might win a playoff game this decade. Nah. From the owner to the players they aren't so they won't.

Hey Wanna Be America's Team. I apologize for The Saints not signing every criminal drama queen to our roster to compete with JJ's soap opera in Dallas. Here's hoping your team chokes at the end this year. Dallas as America's Team, what a joke.

Alright fellas...just a few days away. Y'all realize we only have 4 picks this year due to the trades to get Vilma and Shockey. 1 1st rounder, 2 4th round picks and a 7th rounder. The least of any team. That kinda sucks.

As bad as we need D, I'm still not convinced we'll go that route. Even with the #1 offense, I can easily see Payton, Loomis and Co. pick Wells. But if not I'll say either Cushing because of our obvious need for a OLB, and he's a stud, or Malcolm Jenkins b/c of his versatility to play corner or safety.

Who knows we may even trade down. Ahhhhhh, the possibilities. Gotta love it!

i hope we dont get wells, all we need to get is a second or third string HB we could get one of those in the 4th, i hope we get cushing GO SAINTS
