Not that you really care but... since it seems like you might (for the first time ever) actually be asking a legitimate football set of questions, here goes:
1. QB - I think it will be Quinn. DA has a strong arm, but he's inaccurate under stress. Quinn has the ability to move, and he never really got unleashed last year before his injury. I don't know why Mangini doesn't have a strong feeling about either of them, but he will eventually choose Quinn.
2. Record - Unfortunately, I don't think it will be much better than 6 - 10 or 7 -9. We've lost too much in recievers, we're weak at running back, but I think there will be enough around to get us 6 wins between returning players, and young talent.
3. We always play Baltimore tough... I say we split 1-1 but both games will come down to a field goal type spread. I think we split with Cinci too... just because we always manage to understimate them in a game... (I would LOVE to say we take both... if there's a team we could... it's be the Bengals). I say we lose 2 to steelers... UNLESS one of the games is in really crappy weather... the Steelers were NOT impressive in bad weather last year.
4. I'm hard pressed not to pick NE... because I think they are going to come out firing and with a chip on their shoulder. But I wouldn't be surprised by the steelers or the titans either.
5. Well... I guess that depends on the winner of the AFC now doesn't it? I think that any three teams I mentioned above would win against the NFC. However, the Giants seem to be the best opponent.
I think you'll agree that my assessment isn't overly optimistic. The proof of loyalty is guys like me, willing to talk in an objective manner about their team even when times are not particularly good. I imagine as soon as your team struggles... you will no longer be around.
Who will you go with at quarterback this year?
- Not that they will but it should be Quinn, yes he is unproven but the only way to prove yourself is to get a chance to play and as strong as an arm as DA has he can't hit the broad side of a barn.
What do you think your record will be this season?
- 6-10 at best beating Detroit, Chicago, KC, Denver, Cincy 1 time and possibly BMore once.
How do you think you'll do against Baltimore? Cincy? Pittsburgh?
Baltimore 1-1 if we're lucky
Cincy 1-1 but who knows I think Cincy might surprise some people this year(read 8 or 9 wins).
Pittsburgh come on do you really need to ask, a big 0 fer.
Who do you think will win the AFC North this year?
Pittsburgh
Who will win the AFC Championship this year?
I really hate to say it but I think it will be New England, but if not then Pittsburgh.
Who will win the Super Bowl this year?
and if I knew this I would go to Vegas with my pick...
All that being said Go Browns...
1. Quinn because he fits a ball control/power running scheme that Mangini will run.
2. 7-9 easier schedule helps.
3. 0-2 against Steelers, 1-1 against Baltimore, 2-0 against Cincy.
4. Steelers will win the AFC North, then Baltimore, Cleveland, and Cincy.
5. I do not predict such things this far out.
6. I do not predict such things this far out.
1. QB is Quinn as for our record i hate i kinda agree w/ modell at most 6 wins an thats givin them a l;ot seein what has happened in the off season
1-1 balt, 1-1 cinci, 0-2 pitt steelers will win the division again everythin else is to early to say an as for the excuse thing i actually thought you had a good question for us browns fans but i see your still just a loser who still has nothin better to do but rag on our team win or lose we still love the brownies
Who will you go with at quarterback this year?
Quinn will win the quarterback competition. Mangini is going to stick with him throughout the season, whether that means winning or losing.
What do you think your record will be this season?
We're not going to win more than six games.
How do you think you'll do against Baltimore? Cincy? Pittsburgh?
Baltimore will sweep us, Cincy will split us, and I dare to say that Cleveland will take Pittsburgh at home. Mangini may not be the best coach, but he isn't stupid. I see him putting a lot of time into the Pittsburgh Steelers, and it'll have something of a decent result.
Who do you think will win the AFC North this year?
Pittsburgh, but it'll go down to the last game of the season. Baltimore is going to give them a solid run.
Who will win the AFC Championship this year?
A healthy Tom Brady sends New England back to the forefront...
Who will win the Super Bowl this year?
...and to another championship.

Exactly what i was thinking
QUOTE(#4):
I'm posting my predictions now and we'll see how they turn out.I predict you'll start the season with Quinn, then bench him in about week four or five.I think that with the easier schedule that you earned by finishing in last place, you should be able to muster out 3 wins, maybe 4 at most. You've lost your most talented players in the offseason (Winslow, Jurevicious, Stallworth, Andre Davis, Sean Jones) and have replaced them with less talented players.Pittsburgh will own you AGAIN, Baltimore will sweep you and you'll split with the Bungles.Pittsburgh will win the North AGAIN!!!, Baltimore will edge out the Bungles and the CLOWNS will lead the league in excuses and finish in the basement AGAIN!!The AFC will come down to Pittsburgh, New England or Miami. The NFC will go to Philly or Carolina.Pittsburgh, New England or the Dolphins will winn the Super Bowl.
Is it just me or did the rest of you think... "holy crap... Modell is actually going to write a decent post"... and then... all of a sudden, you hear that little BOING sound, like a spring breaking, and he returns to a blithering idiot from about his third point on. Every board has one loser who decides to come in and just mouth off. I guess this C-Town has found it's idiot. Congrats Lefty T Modell... you're finally qualified for something.
BTW... you actually have to take the medication EVERY morning for it to work.
I think Brady Quinn will be starting under center in 2009. I think he is mentally tough and has the desire to learn and continue to improve. He still has his work ahead of him but I think both he and Mangini compliment each other.
As a Steeler fan I cannot say I like to see the Brownies beat us but I think the the Browns will come in at 7 and 9, maybe 8 and 8 if they are not plagued by injuries. I don't think the Ravens will have the same kind of season they had last year. They should split their games against the Ravens, sweep the Bengals. I don't think they will win against the Steelers again this year. They still have a long way to go in personnel for that to happen.
Steelers should repeat as AFC North Champions again unless they have a complete breakdown caused by injuries. I think the Patriots, Titans, and Steelers will be at the top of the AFC power rankings but either the Steelers or Patriots will prevail and move on to the Super Bowl. I think either team can beat any NFC opponent.
ypu keep sayin Andra davis the man was a bum that is why he took a huge PAYCUT last year just to stay on the team check your facts. also they didnt try to trade Quinn denver inquired about Quinn an we said no. As for over inflatin his draft stock you cant legitimately say that cuz he hasnt played but two games. Winslow will continue to be pro bowl caliber but for what maybe 2 years before his Knees fall apart and he will continue to collect a check. As for Shaun Rogers he is participating in VOLUNTARY work outs so that bursts your bubble. You keep bringing a situation up that was a problem 2 months ago. Thats a dead story so why dont you get updated before your next post. The fact that you always post about our lowly browns team that only proves YOU ARE THE BIGGEST CLOSET BROWNS FAN KNOWN TO MAN so keep your outdated facts comin #1 BROWNS FAN
Modell is a retarded Browns fan who is masking his pain of losing by posing as a traitor and Steelers fan. I think he actually has a man-crush on either Quinn, Mankok, or dreams of a 4-way with all of them
