NBA  > General NBA  > Is it racism or greed, or both, that forces great basketball players to college before going pro?
April 5, 2009, 01:04 PM
why is basketball different from golf, or tennis, or singing, or acting? I just saw a 14 year old white female golfer in a LPGA event this weekend. Does the ncaa want to keep their 1.2 billion contract with cbs so bad that it forces great b-ball players to play one year of coolege? Greg Oden played one year, took his team, ohio state, to championship game. they lost to florida, he leaves and goes pro and starts making millions of dollars. but that one year made ohio state and the ncaa millions of dollars.
