1. open YIM and click on "contacts" at the top then add a contact.
2. copy and paste the name given here by the person you are trying to add into the box then click next.
3. fill out the request to add with a quick message telling them who you are and then when they log in, they will recieve your request. Your list will say "pending" until they login and add you.
