Who do you think will be our best corner this year? Jason David had the most interceptions for our team but i dont think he will be our best. Tracy Porter did good until he got injured . Randall Gay is probably my favorite. though now we got jabari Greer , it will be a good compotition for the starting job. Whos going to start?

good question... but im gonna put my money on young tracy porter, hes fast, good at coverage, he id descent on man... i think this is his come out year... randall gay and greer might start, but through out the season, porter will get his share and make plays.. as for david, just put him in when we play zone...lol, god knows he cant catch anybody...but he has good hands, and makes big plays, but he gives the other offense to many big plays also.

Let's see ...move Usama Young to FS. Put Gay at RCB, Greer at LCB and Porter at nickel to help out on the corner blitzes Williams is going to call. If Harper can stay healthy at SS that's a pretty good young secondary. Of course all that changes if they draft Jenkins in round one (but I think they'll go either RB or OLB). If I had to choose a favorite it would have to be Young just because he went to Kent State, just a couple of miles from me.

what bout Darren Sharper...? he should be the starting at the safety postion. with roman Harper out next to him. cant wait till the season starts......

The Saints really have NO good cornerbacks. It's their trademark. You can go back until the onset of the Saints. They have a good defensive line, good linebacker, but when it comes to their defensive backfield it is just mediocre.

THINK ABOUT THIS.........

GO BACK AND THINK, "NAME THE TOP 10 CORNERBACKS THAT THE SAINTS EVER HAD THAT WERE OF PRO BOWL CALIBER"

OK, HOW ABOUT 5 CORNERBACKS THAT WERE OF PRO BOWL CALIBER"

I think it's gonna be Greer and Porter. Both young guys with good skills and big upsides. Throw in Gay and Young for the nickel and dime packages. That's a pretty good foursome.

As for safety, Harper and Sharper are a decent duo. Add Prioleau to the mix instead of Kaesviharn, who sucked ass, and I like the secondary.

And I agree with the fact we'll go either RB or OLB in the draft. Replacing Deuce with a big bruiser seems to be a priority and helping out Vilma is one too. That said, adding another DB wouldn't be a bad thing. You can never have enough quality in the secondary.
