I've read a few TD's where Baltimore O's fans are being bashed for raining down Boos on Teixeira. That's ridiculous.

"My dad would take me to O's games and I'd wear a Yankees hat, which wasn't too safe in Baltimore back in the '80s. But it was worth it. There's something about being a Yankee, no where you are there are Yankees fans, and I'm glad to be a Yankee today."-Tex

These comments come after he alluded to wanting to play for Baltimore. Then he admitted he rooted for Mattingly over guys like Cal and Murray? Even Teixeira's dad admits he has a tough time putting on the NY cap now.

I have no delusions about Teixeira coming to Baltimore. It was never going to happen for that price and a good decision by the O's to stay/back out of the race. It is the slap in the face after he signed for the evil empire that really gets us. He could have left the comments about rooting for the Yankees out of the equation.

In addition its ridiculous seeing comments from NY fans putting down the boos. If they are making fun of the O's boos because they don't compare to the Boos Yankee fans lay down then OK, you win.

If he bats .214 much longer NY will boo the pin stripes off him.
