Ban taxpayer money being used for stadium revenue!

I wish our illustrious politicians would pass legislation that bans stadiums being built with taxpayer revenue, but the owners have too much influence (money) to allow that to even become a political issue.

We need a taxpayer ban on the ballot!!

Lets face it, if the owners used their own revenue to build stadiums, they would cut into their earning revenue. I don't think they would threaten to move their franchise if we had laws nationwide that prevented taxpayer money being used to build stadiums. The owners would have to decide if they REALLY needed a new stadium and if they do, then the poor players would have to settle for making $250k - $3 million a year.

I refused to go to a game the other night, not because of the price of a ticket, but because of the FACT that I know my tax dollars are being used to pay for THEIR business, and then I have to pay twenty bucks to park my car. It just feels immoral, as if I would be giving my money to thieves.
