Former Washington Redskin Brian Mitchell to Host Area Summer Football Camps

Learn individual and team football techniques from Washington Redskins players during the upcoming Brian Mitchell Football Camps.

The camp, which offers overnight and day camp options, will be in two locations. The first camp is June 22-25 at Shenandoah University, Winchester, VA and the second camp is June 28-July 1 in George Mason University, Fairfax, VA. These camps will feature former Washington Redskin Brian Mitchell.

???The goal of the camp and instructors is to maximize the potential of each young player while giving them an experience they will never forget,??? says Mitchell.

The camp is designed for players ages 7 to 18, features daily instruction, lectures and demonstrations by Mitchell and/or Washington Redskins members. The college and high school coaches on staff will ensure individual and team instruction on both offense and defense. Football new comers and seasoned players alike will also experience teamwork, self-discipline, selecting the correct role models and how to attain their sports and life potential. Even though this is not an ???autograph camp??? Redskins will be available for autographs.

Mitchell is the NFL???s second all-time leader in total yardage with 23,330 and he holds the NFL records for kickoff returns with 14,014 yards and for punt return yards with 4,999. His 13 special team touchdowns are also an NFL record and he is one of only four players to record four seasons of over 2,000 total yards.

Obtain more information and request a camp brochure that includes an application by calling 1-800-555-0801 or visit www.footballcamps.com. Space in the camp is limited and registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
