I think having a tough schedule is good to have, provided you can still get into the playoffs. I think the Steelers proved that last year. Nothing gets you ready for the playoffs better than playing hard fought games throughout the year. I think if you go into the playoffs after playing a softer schedule you will feel more pressure from the intensity of the games.
The late bye is good, although they always play poorly after so 3 division games after concerns me a bit. It is a moderately tough schedule, but I see another 11-5 season coming, winning the division with the Cowboys and Egals tied at 10-6 right behind. Should come down to the final week as usual.
Hard fought games sometimes bring a lot of injuries especially to key players.They have a way of derailing the best made plans of mice and men.
