NFL  > Kansas City Chiefs  > Haley is a a**hole

Good! Obviously the Vermeil, Edwards way of pampering players doesnt work.I think a prick is exactly what we need. No more **** footing around with these guys.Time to produce or get the hell out of the way. Many, many high draft picks on defensive side and nothing to show for it, its time to start lighting fires and start putting boots in peoples asses to get some results. Tony G is the only player who cannot be easily replaced,he should get the respect he deserves.

Yeah... Maybe he can get LJ to play. I still think he could be a force if he gets his head out of his arse!

LOL misleading thread title, but lured me in. Yeah, I hope the Rams new coach kicks some tail too. Lets get an all-Missouri SB going in a couple of years!

Yeah, because Missouri rocks, just like cleavland does. Woohooo!!!1

Here's the bottom line. Until a competent coach comes in, fires every person on the offensive line and replaces them with someone who can block, LJ, Brodie or Jesus Christ himself will not be able to run or complete a pass. The defense has shaped up, but the secondary is still lousy. We don't have a nasty, killer-instinct, wildman out there with Jarred Allan gone. We are no threat. We would do better hiring the first 22 people showing up to Arrowhead than we are now. Maybe we could find people that actually know how to play the game of football. The coaches are a joke. Stupid time outs at the dumbest times, poor play calling and predictable to everyone (except apparently the coaches) drives all lead down the toilet. Clark Hunt is the one who needs to pull his head out. He's not his Daddy. His Dad would not have tolerated the Chiefs being laughed at like they are. Clark needs a coach to come in, clean house, put everyone's jobs on the line and build a team, starting with those whose job it is to block and tackle. Until we learn those two fundamentals, any success we may have is purely accidental.

Why not put the blame where it belongs. The only constant that has been here through all the years has been the hunt family. Another constant is the fact that they have consistently made money while just spending enough to keep the suckers nin the seats coming back. If attendence drops off they will spend some money, as soon as the seats fill, they start to look for ways to cut costs. Ask yourselves why, when you are supposed to be building a winner that you are below the minimum cap.

Jim from KC- you really live in KC? If so you would know that in the 90's and the first part of the 00's KC was one of the highest salary NFL teams, and won the most games in the 90's of any franchise, but we did not get to the "big" one.......so to blame it on the Hunts??? Get a grip a**hole! It is offense and defensive strategy, pulled together by a group of coaches and 45 players. We obviously had one of the right coaches in Marty Shottenheimer, but he blew it all over a girl, and from there....the Chiefs have not come close until Vermeil, and he was at the end of his career. Doe s Haley have it?? Not yet, but it is early in the game. I have watched this team since the age of 5, at the old Municipal Stadium, and it is NOT the Hunts fault whatsoever, unless you want to say that they just have not hired the correct person to lead.....but they came close many times.

need a new o-line, or cassel's gonna be in a coma !!

Lamar hunt was always one of the best owners in the league. he wanted a good team, what was best for the team, and didn`t meddle and ruin the team. Schottenheimer was a good coach, mainly for defense, but couldn`t win in the playoff`s. I think he played not to lose, instead of playing to win, and yeah, I guess he messed it all up with a love triangle, but it seemed like time for him to move on. I hope that Haley is the guy to build the team back, it`s too soon to tell, and with the O-line that they have, it`s hard to tell if the QB is good, the game plan is working, or anything.

yeah, the Chiefs need a O-line bad, thats the thing all bad teams need it seems.

Funny thing is Pigpen threw behind a worse line last year, and he looked a hell of alot better than Cassel. . . imo. Wonder how many of you still think Albert is an NFL LT, omg put him at guard already (why did Chiefs pass on all the tackles in the draft, Herm told them to do it?) The axe is falling.

And I don't know if Haley is an A**hole or not, but he aint no Josh McDaniels.

Football begins and ends on your O-line, and the Chiefs don't have one. I've seen it, and it's worse than the Bears'. Trading Thigpen away was really dumb. Josh McDaniels is 5-0.....

thigpen is a ok backup, but not a pocket passer and didn`t read the defense very good, so it didn`t seem like much of a loss. When they let Jared Allen go to the Vikings that was dumb.

Gabedell50, If you were only 5 when the Chiefs came to town, I have lived in KC longer than you have been breathing. Yes I remember all the good years and all the bad ones and the good ones were when money was being spent. But I also remember Steadman and his penny pinching that led to the bad years before Marty. I don't expect a SB every year, but I would like to see a team that is competitive and interesting to watch. The last few years it has been painful to watch a complete game. This team is lacking in talent, and so far I see a lack of judgement on Pioli's part in how to address it. I have heard the word process so much that it makes me ill when I hear the word. I would like to know the definition of the word process in language I can understand.
