I am actually not a vikings fan (I do like the colors and the fan base), but i do believe that the vikes will go far. Now, I know that there's been alot of buzz about the Cutler trade and it created a media frenzy, heck even I got excited for the bears! But I have never believed that one person will turn a team into a title contender, it takes everyone to do it. The vikes didn't get Cutler, and maybe your front office had valid reasons for not pursuing him, but this team has certain tangibles that are in it's favor: young and physical defense, great offensive line, running game (2 of them), and don't underestimate Sage. Sometimes a change in scene is all it takes and he's walking onto a team that is already set and yes, it's true he doesn't play like Jay Cutler and he doesn't have to because he's not expected to shoulder the burden alone. All he has to do is manage the game and generate points. That's a big difference in asking someone to lead a team to greatness. I respect the bears, but I think that they're asking too much of him without any great receiver help, a suspect offensive line, and an aging defense. You have all the pieces and I do believe that Sage will be fine, after all he has those great receivers to bail him out. I do believe that you'll retain your nfc north title and have a deeper run in the playoffs.

I like the comments but all we have for receivers is Berrian, Rice, and now Harvin and Holt. Not quite great receivers. We'll be tough to stop either way.

Until the Vikes get a QB AN a coach that can call off plays they wont go very far . They have a Great defense and RB's but when other teams crowd the line they don't have a QB that can stretch the defense or a off cord that will call a play that would !!! My hope is that Farve is signed because I believe he still is MUCH BETTER than what they have and would call his own plays at the line but then he would retire next year and they would be left with what they have now! A Head Coach that can't coach an Offense .

Only way the Vikings make it to the NFC Championship game is if Favre comes out of retirement and plays for the Vikings. Even then it'd be tough. I'm a huge Vikings fan but it's a tough road to the superbowl and lets face it... as Vikings fans we know that the Vikings play to the level of their competition and we have the 2nd "easiest schedule" this year... so we'll be playing like crap all year... despite the fact that we're "better than the teams we're playing" we'll play to their crappy level and finish with another approx. .500 season.. maybe eeking into the playoffs where we'll run into a good team and be used to playing crappy all year, getting by... and then lose in the first round (again).... I'm not bitter, just realistic and I know my Vikings.

The Bears will cleans their clock twice this year...Minnesota will not make the playoffs, and all hell will break loose...but the could sign Vick, and that changes everything.

if favre comes out to play with the vikings the vikings will probably lose a ton of games they should stick with T-jack he has the most potential

I'M FINE WITH SAGE......HECK ALL HE HAS TO DO IS MANAGE THE GAME. THE D IS STRONG AND I LIKE THE ADDITIONS OF HARVIN AND LOADHOLT. COOK CAN MOVE TO CENTER SO THAT HE WON'T FALSE START ALL THE TIME AND THE ADDITION OF J. BRINKLEY COULD BE A STEAL. OUR RECIEVERS ARE GOOD ENOUGH TO GET THE JOB DONE
