NCAAF  > Ohio State Buckeyes  > Too soon to start thinking about a Texas vs Ohio State rematch for the NC game?
April 21, 2009, 04:48 PM
Was such a good bowl game last season, Colt's comin' back, Pryor's coming into his own...

Oughta be a good one.

If both could go undefeated, could be a lock.

There will no doubt be an SEC candidate or 2 in the mix, I was just thinking that a back to back, BCS bowl rematch, elevated into the NC game would be compelling college football. And, that both Texas and Ohio State have strong national followings.

OSU has what looks like two real strong games to build a case, provided they run the table; one early with USC, and later, an in-conference with Penn State.

What's on the schedule that might trip up the Longhorns?

QUALIFIER: No disrespect to the several other programs with very legitimate NC title aspirations. This is just one man's musings on how much energy (and ratings potential) a rematch might have.

Please feel free leave any unmitigated buckeye hatred on some other thread.

Thanks.
