The Mets are playing like they are already out of it. Unless Manuel gets control of this team & starts reaming a few new ones for these underachivers, 2009 will be another lost season

Instead of going 4 years for Lowe, they give Jekyll & Hyde Perez 3. Great move guy. The team, as it is currently constituted. will not do it . They should really think of trading as many of these dogs as possible & get what they can starting with I won't slide because I might get hurt Beltran. Ty Cobb used to come in sliding spikes up. These guys refuse to slide.

Only a few on the team should be untouchable , maybe 3 or 4. Trade the rest away now.
