I nominate Nastia Lukin and Shawn Johnson for winning Gold and Silver respectively in All Around Gymnastics at the Olympics, making it the first 1-2 finish by Americans in Gymnastics. ;)
I second the vote for Lukin for holding off her favored American teammate and the rest of the world to win the Mary Lou Retton Gold Medal.
