Uh oh. The Falcons get another offensive weapon. The Panthers re-sign Delhomme. Williams had better get ALL the pieces in place before opening day!

The positions of OLB and Safety just got even more important. I think Roman Harper (if healthy) can handle Gonzalez as SS but it puts a premium on his mate covering the center of the field. Also a quick, not necessarily fast, OLB will help in zone coverage and roll coverage. This makes getting more picks more urgent. With a trade down and getting a second rounder, we can get good talent at both positions.

Yeah. The more I think about it an OLB is the way to go. We don't need the second coming of the "Dome Patrol" but we do need a vast improvement. Take the best 4-3 OLB available that fits the schemes. If needed I say move Usama Young to FS (like a Bob Sanders type) and let Sharper tutor him for the one year he's here. Young would be better and more aggressive than the over-rated Jenkins anyway.
