NFL  > General NFL  > Best 1st day drafts versus Worst

BEST
1.) Seattle - Getting Aaron Curry, Max Unger and swapping a 2nd rounder this year for a 1st rounder next year with the Broncos. (This has to be one of the dumbest move in a long time)
2.) New England - They got younger at key positions (S, NT, CB, RT) in a hurry.
3.) Buffalo - Corner, OL and D Line were the three key areas they needed to address, and they did that.
4.) Atlanta - They had 3 weaknesses going into the week (TE, DT, S)and made them strengths

WORST
1.) Raiders - Heyward-Bay 7th!, they could have moved down, added picks and STILL got Heyward-Bay with the 15th pick. The icing on the cake came in the 2nd round when they took a player they could've got in the 6th round.
2.) Browns - They moved down three times to take a player at a position they didn't need to address, then in round two, they drafted two WR's and a LB/DE they could have got in round 4 or 5.
3.) Detroit - They guaranteed a QB over $40 million dollars and then never got him any reinforcements on the OL. That is like buying a Bentley when you don't have a garage to park it in.
4.) Denver - They still have no true QB, and they gave a 1st rounder in 2010 to Seattle in exchange for Seattle's 2nd round pick this year (INSANE), then took a 5'9 corner with that pick
