cutler is exactly what the bears need. we will adapt to him greatly. from my experience, players that are happy with their personal lives in the city they play in generally tend to play better during the games. 'ol boy jay seems to LOVE chicago so far.. especially the nightlife... even MORE than he did in denver, and he was a probowler there.
Who cares if he's a troublemaker. chicago is known for having troublesome athletes. dennis rodman? lol
I can't wait when the bears play the packers opening day.the packer playing a 3 4 defence that they never played b4.Lets see if he can handle there new Packer defense on opening day it could be disasterous with out brett to bail them out.I understand how excited the packers where when Rodgers took the 6 and 9 last year. I do admit i liked Brett he was tough as nails and didnt mess a game that amazing.I don't see roger rabbit doing that.Packer fan think like they got that holy cheez hat on all the time..........or is it a hat?

He didn't do anything in Denver except throw for over 4000 yards and make the Pro Bowl. That was without a proven running back. Forte and the Chicago tight ends will help Cutler. The main objective is to keep a strong and healthy O-line and find a wide receiver to throw to. The defense could use some young talent. The aging and injury prone need compatible back ups to assure that we don't have a significant drop off in talent. Chicago should be able to compete for the NFC north title. I think that the games between Chicago, Minnesota and Green Bay may be some of the best games in football this year.
your an idiot, Minnesota ....still no QB...Chicago...Still no no. 1 reciever and defensivley OLD...Green Bay...Very Young ... Detroit...well its Detroit.

Watch cutler get sacked next season. Denver had the #2 offense last season and they kept cutler safe. Now he goes to the bears, who have the worst o line in the league. Cutler will be hurt within three reg games, he is a poon.
Sorry guys but the Cutler hate is really old.
To all the haters in Colorado....he's gone...get over it.
To the Packer fans talkin all that mess....it's ok to be scared...you should be...
Everybody can tell that your a Broncos fan. Okay maybe you have a point maybe if the Bears later down the line Cutler can't handle the pressure that's fine. But you are calling out the whole Bears team. Now that's not right. For a jealous Broncos fan to call out Matt Forte who was good for the Bears last year. Just because you wanted Cutler there. So don't say this and that because your jealous. Then I can say the Broncos suck because they did lously in the draft because no new quarterback in. And oh Brandon Marshall sucks. No you can't say that just what you said in the post.

The Bears oline is argueably one of the best in the NFC. We added a lot of good pieces there. Secondly, Packers fans are scared out of there mind. They've never had to deal with a great Bears QB. It's ok...your 3-4 Defense won't be able to stop him this year. The first game of the year will be a blowout. Mark my words...
greenbay has been sore ever since the ass kick'in in 85. your gonna get more of the same this year boys
greenbays fans are still mad about the ass kickin in 85. bears are gonna own u this year boys. as for denver u suck. u wont even be 500 this year
Okay,
I want the chicago bears fans to anticipate the season because it's exciting. On the other hand, it is not fair to assume that the broncos will fall on their face because he's gone. They still have their #1 receivers, a young and productive offensive line, and the running game will return. Jay Cutler did go to the pro bowl, but HE HAD THE SERVICES OF MARSHALL AND ROYAL TO HELP HIM ACCOMPLISH IT. You can't get by on a qb's talent alone- YOU NEED GAME CHANGING RECEIVERS. When I read the entry by some of the broncos fans, it didn't appear that they were hating, they simply stated the fact that both teams may have running games, but Denver has the better receiver tandem. Kyle will benefit immensely and on the subject of needing to like the town they play in, sorry but that's not true:THEY'RE NOT BEING PAID TO LIKE THE TOWN THEIR IN, THEY NEED TO PERFORM A JOB. It doesn't matter if Jay is living it up because I bet Kyle is too, one of them has better receivers. There is no guarantee that the bears, broncos, or anyone else will be better after today. Great teams are built from the ground up and that's why they are aroung year end and year out. It will take more than Jay to get to the superbowl...all qb's that won them had great receivers. I also would like to remind people that Jay is in Chicago and I'm happy for him, but it doens't mean he'll stay there and you have to be prepared to deal with the possibility of an exit. THERE'S NOT ANYTHING WRONG WITH KYLE ORTON...IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO PLAY WHEN THERE ARE NO QUALITY RECEIVERS AND A QUESTIONABLE O-LINE. He seems to have walked into a great position- I would love to inherit that offense in Denver. Josh McDaniels has a vision and I think I would've hung around to get a piece of it... They could've worked it out and once again I'm happy Jay is there with you, I believe that he will regret he didn't work it out. Trades are a part of the business and they could've forged a dynamic duo because they both would've benefited. Sometimes, the best life lesson are the ones that have to be thought through carefully before we act upon them.
Please Mr. Rodgers, no more stupidity. Is Rodgers your real last name or have you since adopted it to prove to your fellow packer fans that you are just as worthless as they are? We, the Bears, now have the best quarterback in the division by a landslide. Your "new" defense I am sure will be adequate enough to challenge a shaky young offense. However the only thing that will be more disasterous than your first grade spelling will be the outcome of these contests. The only people Aaron Rodgers is frightening right now are the head coach and GM of your sinking ship. Ryan Grant didn't meet a tackle he could break last year and AJ Hawk will continue to be exposed, still fading after he "peaked" in the first four games of his career. If any reader here needed to review what seperates Bears fans from Packer's fans, read this man's logic, misplaced passion and complete disregard for his own language. The smell of cheese has hollowed you out.
The Bears drafted 3 WR's on Sunday, and at least one of them should compete for the #2 slot (Iglecias). Iglecias is a solid slot reciever, which will work well with the Bears strong TE situation and with Forte's good hands. With defenses having to concentrate inside the 8-15 yd. range, it opens up the backfield for Cutler to try to hit Hester long. While I would be excited beyond measure to see the Bears offer Marvin Harrison an incentive-laden 1-2 year deal to give the team a veteran anchor and mentor, I think the Bears' offensive game is going to be exciting in 2009.
On the defensive side of the game, the Bears core is on the tail end of their prime as a unit. If the team's secondary can gel and exceed last year's underproduction, I look to see the "D" unit be somewhere in the top 8-15 in the NFL for 2009. Urlacher will be playing healthy and they've made some personell changes (including a couple enticing picks in the draft) to infuse the defense with youth and raw athleticism.
The Bears 2009 unit has a big challenge ahead, but it isn't likely to be coming from inside their own division. Green Bay is fighting for an identity, Minnesota is still looking for a field general, and the Lions... well, winning 5-6 games would have to be seen as a major bounce-back after their utterly atrocious 2008 campaign. I look to see the Bears winning the division with a record of 11-5, possibly as high as 12-4 if they get some breaks and a strong return of production on their draft picks. They really underachieved in 2008 and still had a winning record. They've got an excellent core and will undoubtedly be much more athletic on the offensive line in 2009.
