NFL  > Tennessee Titans  > Now that draft is over, what's their record going to be?

With the draft now over what do you think the Titans' record will be next year?

With the current draft over I'm now thinking 9-10 wins this year. We got some receiving help. Britt is supposed to be solid and you might be able to split Cook out. We got a kick returner in Mouton. Depth at OL/DL and a flippin fast LB.

New England and Pittsburgh away along with Miami, Arizona, and San Diego at home will all be difficult not to mention the relatively stout division games. 10 wins would be a very good result. I'd guess they fall back to 9-7

11-5 or 12-4 is certainly not out of the question. this team is relatively intact (minus big al of course) heading into next season. if anything, the upgrades made on offense through the draft and free agency should make the titans even more explosive and really alleviate some of the pressure that fell on "twitch" last year. can you imagine what this kid could do in a more wide open offense?!? the division is theirs for the taking again and if this team is ever going to make it back to a super bowl again, this year is as good a shot as any...

While I agree that 11-12 wins is certainly in reach I wonder the next few points:

1. I think that last year, we overachieved. Not that I thought we were a 7-9 team that went 13-3, but I think that we achieved more than was expected. Since the team next year is similar to the team last year......I think 10 wins is more like it....anything above that is gravy.

2. Schedule is tougher this year. The first 1/3 of the year is brutal and our division is only getting better.

3. The jury is still out on the "Rooks". If Britt and Cook provide good immediate impact, then 12 wins is very much within reach. Also if our special teams is bolstered....who knows?

Regardless, I see us edging Indy slightly for the division title and making the playoffs.

I agree on all your p[oints you made there and one to add to that is the DT able to be enough to fill the big shoes there on the d line . Now the division is tougher we do have one big thing keeping the bar set high for them and this factor is Jeff Fisher he is probably one for a lock in the Hall with his career he will have them ready for this year for sure . Lets see how we can do.
