NFL  > San Diego Chargers  > It's Leaf vs. Phillips in draft bust tournament final!!
April 30, 2009, 02:08 PM
The real NFL Draft has passed, but April Badness is still here for your enjoyment. We began with 32 first-round busts, and now only two remain. There have been a few surprises, but our top overall seed and champion of the Jim Irsay Region, Ryan Leaf, has taken down every fellow bust in his path. His Final Four opponent -- Tony Mandarich, the last man standing in the Mike Brown Region. On the other side of the bracket, another pair of infamous busts. Representing the Ray Perkins bracket was Lawrence Phillips going against the champion of the Matt Millen Region, Tim Couch.

Who are the lucky two men left? Without further ado, let's get to the results!!

Finals
#1 Leaf vs. #1 Phillips
And then there were two...A repeat offender of violent crimes takes on a repeat offender for being an ****. Well perhaps Phillips falls into both categories, but nonetheless, he will go toe-to-toe with Leaf to decide once and for all who the worst first-round pick of all time is.

Leaf can't lose this. QB is more important than RB.

Leaf had talent, he won his first couple of games, but being a jerk was his biggest ability, that said, Leaf is not a criminal, doesn't beat up women, and my vote would have to go to Phillips, because he does.

Couch was pretty bad, but he did lead the Browns to the playoffs one season.
