Auto Racing  > General Auto Racing  > NASCAR is too sensitive.....

I know I'm a week late on this subject, but it is really starting to bother me how big of kittens nascar is being. Carl Edwards wrecked is car in an spectacular way into the fence, tore up his car pretty good and got out of his car and Ricky Bobbied it up to the finish line. The fence held and did it's job, the car held and did it's job and instead of talking about that they want to talk about how they need to make changes.. What changes????? What could they do to stop it from happening again?

1 - Take the plate off so the cars go 230mph then the cars will go over the fence.

2 - Put smaller holes in the plate so the cars are really bunched together and annoy the drivers some more and make it less entertaining for the viewers.

3 - Make the fence stronger with more support making it harder to see through.

4 - Move the fans farther back by taking away seats against the gate.

I know a few fans got hit by debris and to the woman who broke her jaw it is a bigger deal, but the fact of the matter is that this was a once in 10 years kind of wreck. Talladega is the most exciting race there is. I don't think they should do anything to "Change" anything about talladega, now other races, I think they could work on making them more entertaining.
