A lot of times, whether you realize it or not, a band will get by just as much by their mystique as they do by their talent. Radiohead, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin are the most obvious examples of this (although in fairness, Zeppelin had a ton of musical talent to boot, and PFloyd and Radiohead perform[ed] regular miracles with their instruments).

Would you say that mystique is a legitimate quality in a band that can make them seem more powerful and more reaching to their audiences?
