NBA  > General NBA  > Rondo still getting 0 respect, why?
May 5, 2009, 11:12 AM
So, after the end of the season Rondo sat in the top 10 PGs for every stat but scoring (12th). That is Assists (4th), Assist/TO ratio (5th), rebounds (3rd), steals (5th), player efficiency rating (2nd), double boubles (6th), triple doubles (T-3rd), shooting% (3rd).

To add to this he is shining in the playoffs. Aside from a game 6, Rondo would have become the only player to average a triple double in an entire 7 game series; that puts him in league with Magic, Fat Lever, and Nash.

Since KG has been out, Rondo has picked up a fair amount extra to compensate for what is lost and I personally think he is doing a great job of it.

So why still no respect?
