NFL  > Tampa Bay Buccaneers  > Derek Brooks!!!!! Should the bucs bring him back to complete his career here 1 more yr?

I say yes!

If not for him to play every game than just for his leadership and to honor the
man and everything he's done for us here in Tampa.

Lets be real here, this guy is arguable the best buccaneer we've ever had here
and he deserves better than the way the bucs treated him, he's only asking for
one more yr.

WHY NOT?

yesssss they need to let him play in situational plays and let some of the younger guy play the majority of the game geno hayes angelo crowell and qunicy black and dont forget about big adam hayward who could sneek in but wait i here that jim bates is in love with FLIP at the linebacker position but all in all look at the locker room influence he has with the team right now therer is barber flip rudd grahm caddy if heathly and ward winslow but what brooks brings to the team is exp point blank

I agree- Derek would undoubtedly be my favorite NFL player of all time if he wasn't a Seminole (I'm a big Gator fan). Him, along with Warren Sapp and John Lynch, were integral pieces of the Cover 2 paradigm shift. He was the ultimate run stopper/cover guy combo linebacker- possibly the best of all time. He at least needs to be in that conversation. Obviously his impressive toughness, consistency and leadership are traits that every team needs and he brings that to the table in spades. SAVE DEREK and GO BUCS!

Yes! For all that he has done for the BUCS he deserves it.

I agree! After all he did for the BUCS, they owe him!

After the way Tony Dungy was fired, I gave up on the Buc's. But Derek, warren sapp,& John Lynch made the buc's. I was really glad to see Tony Dungy take his team to the super bowl after leaving Tampa, Shows what a great man can do, and Tampa was to stupid to recognize that. they would have been the one in the super bowl if they had kept the right team.
