NFL  > Buffalo Bills  > Bills still need a Left Tackle
May 7, 2009, 05:16 AM
The Bills have all the tools they need with the exception of a quality left tackle. I have to pick them as pretenders in the AFC East until they find a way to protect their QB's blind side.

If the Bills make a deal for a good left tackle, then I think they'll have to be considered contenders.

I agree with you whole heartedly, even though I don't like the idea of TO being a Bill,we're supposed to have more class than that!!

Me either, but then I wasn't too fond of him with the 'Boys. T.O. will implode by the 6th-8th game of this coming year, and he will show his ass, throw temper tantrums, and just generally be disruptive. He will intimidate your QB into making him believe that there is only one receiver worth throwing the football to.........him. He will walk up and down the sideline, looking for any camera's and scream, yell and throw hissy fits.

I still can't believe you guys signed him. I would rather have someone off the street. Owens will not save your coach. He couldn't care less about whether your coach keeps his job or not.
Watch and see.

But, I wish you guys the best of luck................you deserve more than Owens for sure.

They unfortunately need more than a left tackle. An outside linebacker is just as big a priority. If Maybin is only going to be a situational player, what are they going to do about defensive end.............surely you can't believe Kelsay can play the position, he has proven outerwise. An upgrade at defensive tackle is much needed. It is yet to be seen if McKelvin is ready to step in, we need a safety.........I could go on. They still don't have a viable coaching staff. 7-9 is looking like a long shot!
