Responses to the Titan Dream:
1. Kerry throws less 'high' passes and Britt and Cook go up to get the ones he does
2. Javon Ringer is the "Flash" all-puropose back to compliment "Smash & Dash" (Ahmard Hall is "Crash")
3. Britt turns out to be as productive as D-Bowe in KC his first few years.
4. Crumpler sews the hole in his glove and Cook is a vertical weapon with Scaife and Crumpler over the middle. Crumpler, Scaife, and Stevens are a mauling Blocking Force from the TE position.
5. SenDerrick Marks and Jovan Haye opposite Tony Brown and Jason Jones become the "Titanic" unmoveable wall in the middle
6. KVB and his freak-ness pair with Jacob Ford and Dave Ball to sack more than a Kroger's employee
7. Mark Jones 'volunteers' to dominate the kick-return game
8. Win the Super Bowl !!
9. Vince is more than just a bench-warmer this year. We use him in a "Longhorn" (as opposed to wildcat) package. Cook and CJ run the defense down field on verticals and VY hucks it deep or channels 'pops' McNair on a 50 yard TD run.
10. Sign Bulluck for life, he is who we thought he was. No other pressing needs at present. See how the new guys work out.
Additions:
11. We sort out the WR conundrum with a depth chart that makes sense. Like back in the day when we had quality depth. Personally I like Chris Davis and Lavelle Hawkins, but let's give them the opportunity to prove they are or are not the 4 & 5. Paul Williams seemed immune to the football last preseason, how he got past Biren Ealy I do not understand. Either catch the ball or a plane. Why did we release Roydell Williams? If his ankle was spaghetti put him on IR!?
12. Crumpler (who I thought along with Witten and Gonzalez was one of the best Tight Ends in the game) returns to pro-bowl form. Last year he looked like he needed to find his chi. Go meditate on the uber-adept pass catcher you were in the ATL and come back ready.
13. We have a balanced offensive attack. And by balanced I mean (along with the RBs getting busy) at least one wide receiver gets somewhere near 1000 yards, and our leading receivers are not a TE and a RB.
14. We throw more vertical routes and break more long runs. A little trickery is always exciting, some HB passes, double reverses, have Kerry and VY in the backfield at the same time...Kerry can hand off/pitch/lateral to VY to run or throw. Multiple HBs in the backfield, a "Heavy" Package with Stevens and an extra tackle at TE, Hall, Q, and White in the backfield...call it the one-ton set.
15. The defense doesn't miss Carr and King. The CB depth is something we've struggled to fix, we get it fixed and then half of it leaves.
Perhaps it would be prudent to also hope for a weak AFC South and East. You may also desire the NFC West to continue being mediocre. You have to play 6 games in the toughest division in football (IMHO). You have a further 4 games against a very strong AFC East; Jets, Pats, Dolphins, and the Bills are all coming off good seasons. You also have to face the Steelers, a formidable foe and World Champions. Looming late on the schedule is San Diego, which you can expect a tough game from. The way I see it, the Titans need to play their best season of football since their inception to reach these lofty goals [Super Bowl] that you have cast forth. Since the world is real, and we must therefore be grounded in reality, you should expect no better than a 10 win season, a playoff berth as a wild card, and a first round loss.

While your points are true but one .The AFC east has to prove them selves as does all of the NFL .10 wins and a first round playoff loss .I cant and will not agree with that .I see more for the Titans .Like I said all the Teams have to show them selves .For one is Tom Brady going to be the same or can he get back to his form? The Jets ,dolphins and the Bills have to provide a OF that is consistent now granted the phins had a great season compared to the past can they repeat it . The Jets had Farve last year .They had a vet QB now they have a rookie . The Bills didnt have a great season last year but they had a good off season to .Like I said the Titans have a better chance repeating there season or better than any team in the AFC except the steelers who are still tough as heck.
