To answer your Q Adam, I feel he has the potential to be #2. We'll get a much better idea of where he's at after this pre-season. We still have Gutierrez whom I feel was the obvious #2 after last years pre-season (so we'll be in good shape), but I guess Belichick knew best by going with Cassell.

Hoyer will have to play lights this preseason to make the squad as I feel they'll bring in a vet to push the young QB's.

they could bring in a Brad Johnson and never use him kinda like Vinny Testaverde

they might find a nfl vet that gets cuts after the preseson

Dennis Dixon is a good 3rd string QB. Too bad he doesn't play for the Pats. He plays for the team that got him a SB ring last year.
