I have gathered alot of comments from around the internet based on fans reactions to the recent publicity of NFL and athletes in law trouble. The below phrases are not my own and does not reveal my thoughts or feelings on the subject but I thought I would put them here for debate.

What direction is the NFL headed? when players such as Vick, Burress, and Pacman Jones breaks the law and still can make millions.
Players like Jay Cutler, Brett Farve get called Babies and prima donnas.
An NFL players talent determines, if he breaks the law, whether or not Teams gamble and whether he plays again.
Short of a life sentence behind bars or the death penalty Players can and will play again.
Some NFL Teams are willing to sacrifice morals for a chance to win at any cost.
Roger Goodell: NFL players should be held to higher standards of responsible conduct because of what it means to be part of the National Football League.
If players such as Vick, Pacman Jones, Burress is higher standards I hate to see lower standards.
Playing in the NFL should be a privilege played by Heroes & Warriors and not for any talented gangster or thug carrying guns, using illegal drugs and who consider themselves above the law.
What is other NFL fans stance on the current status of the NFL player conduct controversy.
An interesting read about the NFL player conduct policy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Football_League_playe r_conduct_controversy
