NFL  > New Orleans Saints  > Dear Coach Payton, Do You Have The Time?
May 20, 2009, 04:25 AM
Ok I know half of you have moven on from the release of McAllister, and have already began to look forward to rookie output and a possible signing of the Edge but what if the Saints Brass gave Deuce another work out after bringing edge to town? l ]euce is not only one year younger than james, but he does have two fully reconstructed knees. What if we hadn't given drew a chance after he tore his labrum, and went with culpepper, where would be then if we hadn't taken a chance on a surgicaly repaired tendon? What if deuce was more impressive than james? Would payton man up and sign back the communitys hero after last years constant reminder that deuce didn't have enuf touches? McAllister already has admitted to himself (and the media) that he knows he isn't the superstar and that his contributions would be 110??? content to 10 touches a game. Sean I know you can respect the game of clock management and drive duration. I know I haven't forgot the several games where all we had to do was burn the clock and we still lost the game in a last min field goal after a lucky play.
Just think Mr. Payton he already has 3 years in your system, he knows the offense and he keeps the die hards happy as long as he graces the black and gold.
Give the man a workout Mr. Loomis! The story of Deuce McAllister deserves a part deaux , and a ring.
Geaux Saints! Keep Em Healthy Lord, this will be a long season

Dear Coach Payton,

Do you have the time to bump a TL thread off the first page of posts? Please don't bring those back up.
Thanks,
Fannation.

I agree...we need to give Deuce another run with the Black and Gold. Prayers is what we need. Ask your friends to pray for our Saints. Join me in prayer at www.pray4dasaints.com that we may will our Saints to the Superbowl. God is awesome!

Duece has always been one of my all time favorite Saints. The way he carried himself on and off the field was a testimemnt to the man's character. If he can play a contributing role he has definetely earned a chance to wear the black and gold another year. Best of luck to you Duece!
