As for Football it has to be Buffalo, 4 straight losses in the Bowl if I am not mistaken. I guess that does not really answer your question b/c you are looking for cities w/ 3 pro teams in it. Cleveland could be up there.
I would have to say Atlanta with the Braves and Falcons.

I would have to say Philly with the Eagles and the Flyers, at least in the last 10-15 years, anyway, regardless of the Phillies winning the WS.

I'd agree with you about Philly. Baseball, basketball, football, and hockey, and it took 20 years to finally get a champion in the Phillies.
But there aren't many cities that have all of the sports, and even fewer with little success.
Chicago hasn't done squat in recent history (save for the White Sox) and even that took 86 or so years. If not for Jordan and the Bulls, they would have had nothing but absolute mediocrity save for the lone championship by the Bears. I'm ignorant about hockey... weren't the blackhawks good for a while... but isn't that tantamount to saying they had a really good MLS team. Who cares.

Yeah, and the Hawks haven't been anything special.
SEATTLE! SEATTLE! SEATTLE! Seahawks NOTHING, Mariners NOTHING, Sonics 1 NBA championship.
DALLAS!
Look at Mavs this season,
Cowboys past several seasons,
Don't know much about NHL

dallas wouldn't top the list by any means. yes, the mavs and cowboys have had their troubles, but the cowboys have won 5 championships and the stars did win the cup a decade ago. if you were asking specifically about the last decade then yes, dallas could be near the top. but overall, the cowboys success in championship games and the stars cup keeps them off the best of chokers list.
