Oakland, or the Bay Area in general. we have the immaculate reception, the Play, etc. SI could do a multi-part series on the blown games with the sharks, raiders, a's giants, CAL bears and stanfUrd Cardinal.
Denver has got to be in there somewhere. Yeah they won a couple SB but not after a lot of gacks. Rockies did squat after getting there. Nuggets haved had little success until this year.
Chicago...the Bears, the White Sux, Blackhawks and Cubs.

Somebody has to mention Boston! OK, the Sox finally did it, and the Pats have been terrific this decade, and the Celts have had theirs except for the '90s. But Boston was only recently know as Losertown, USA!
1. Losing four Games 7 in the Series over 86 years was the Red Sox identity for decades, and
2. getting beaten badly the first two times in the only two Super Bowls for their first four decades in existence was the Pats', and
3. melting away year after year subsequent to repeatedly trading away the only decent players they had has been the Big Bad Bruins', not to mention this year's surprising collapse, and
4. sinking to become one of the NBA's worst teams for 22 years after 1986 was pretty ugly for the Celts (hey, it is the best I could do for this great franchise), and
5. going 0-4 (including three straight) in the MLS soccer finals is still a millstone hanging around the neck of the New England Revolution.
Yes, most of these have turned around, but Boston deserves some recognition as one of the all-time choke towns.
Buffalo - Losing 4 straight Super Bowls will NEVER be topped.
Philadelphia.. look at the Sixers, Eagles, Flyers and Phillies.. Yes Phillies won last year, but they have had several chances to win championships with these team prior to that but had choked so often prior to last year....
Thats Easy, Philadelphia. City of Losers.
Not counting the Phillies, The Sixers, Eagles and Flyers.
Great fans...but it must be Buffalo....the 4 SB's...but let's not forget the Sabres and their futility.
Can't look at Philly, or Boston (anymore), or Houston (the Rockets)
But how about Cleveland? Browns & Cavs & Indians...way too long since a Championship...and I seem to remember some memorable choke moments.
