Either you misunderstood the artile, or the person that wrote it wrong. The substance that they tested positive for was on the banned list. The supplement that contained the substance was not. The league will list supplements to not use because they are known to contain illegal substances. It is tricky sometimes because companies will change their supplements often. Basically the players are claiming that it was the league's job to read the labels rather than their own.
