You have to be kidding me, right??????
I am not one for drugs, or players using illegal drugs. The law suit in question was about 5 players. Three of the players are from the New Orleans Saints and the two from the Minnesota Vikings. I do understand the zero tolerance the NFL has about this. I was reading up on a news web site about this. The substance in question was not on ???DO NOT USE LIST???.

I had copied and pasted the below passage from the link below.

???Attorneys for the players' union argued that league officials knew a supplement called StarCaps contained a banned diuretic back in 2006 and did not specifically notify players or the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
But the judge agreed with the NFL that players are responsible for what is in their bodies.
The judge's ruling pleased the NFL.???

Now, the million dollar question is if this supplement wasn???t on the list why would they the suspend these players. Think about this, if these players would have won this law suit it would have opened the door for everyone else who is using something.
There is no way you can tell me that this judge was not approached by the NFL. If not, two to one when it came up to selecting a judge, a judge that would or could help the NFL was selected.

Agreed with you on that about the judge was selected to help the NFL. My opinion is if a player is using any kind of drug or over the counter medicine that affects (increases or decreases) your ability then you should be suspended, or have some type of consequence. the same thing with MLB. I think that every player in the league should be tested once if not twice a month, if he is positive then ok, if he is negative then don't let him play and suspend him or some type of consequence. It isn't a fair game if drugs are involved and the fans aren't getting to see real talent, instead they are seeing drug enhancing talent.
