NBA  > General NBA  > To many fouls, dirty plays, bald face lies, and that piano... wtf happened to the NBA?
May 26, 2009, 09:31 PM
D. Jones when asked about tripping K. Bryant stated it was unintentional, nice dude now your a liar as well as a cheater. George Carl, who I thought was a good coach, is now a guy I would not allow children to learn from. When asked about it he fully supported the lie that it was fair play. I expect honor and courage and most of all honest sportsmanship from the NBA. These playoffs are at this point a disgrace to the game. If Jones had at least owned up to it then I wouldn't feel like watching the NBA is now akin to being a fringe member of a gang. Dude needs to imagine himself in the other guys shoes and try again less the disgraceful opportunism.

The refs... my god it is bad, not biased towards any team just a bunch of old guys hanging on to there jobs through seniority rather then performance and ability. The thing that has ruined education in the United States, tenure and seniority over enthusiasm and ability, is destroying the NBA. Refs should have amazing eyesight for one, do they even have standards for vision quality? Over a foul a minute in the Cavs at Orlando the other night. Give me a !@#@!#, break that is unwatchable! And the worst is that half are fantasy fouls that just leave the fans and commentators going "how the hell did he see something that didn't happen?".

And the whole "amazing" thing, !@#!!#$ I hate that song and that slogan and the endless annoying adds. It was cool the first 5 billion times but now it makes me literally plug my ears when I hear that piano. Damn you David Stern, for not knowing when to throw a change up pitch when branding your product. For the love of god somebody kill the piano player!

ugh going back to watching the cavs magic foul fest with the sound OFF!
