NFL  > Cleveland Browns  > NFLPA looking into Browns 'voluntary' bus trip
June 5, 2009, 03:58 PM
The NFL Players Association is looking into the Browns rookies' voluntary bus trip to Hartford, Conn. last week and also the length of time players are spending at the Browns facility for a voluntary minicamp or organized team activity day. A league source also said that the NFL has been asked to look into both situations and was doing so. Multiple league sources said last Friday that the Browns rookies and their agents ranged from baffled to upset that they were asked to take a 10-hour bus trip to Hartford to participate in coach Eric Mangini's charity football camp for under-resourced children.
