If you watch the Phillies this year, they remind me of last years mets. they have tons of talent and are leading the division as of right now, but their bullpen sucks, and their starters arent much better.

brad lidge was perfect in save situations last year. this year k rod is perfect so far. last year the mets would lose games constantly after leading after into the 7th or 8th innings. this year the phillies are blowing these games and the mets have the best bullpen era in the NL.

last year jimmy rollins, the teams star ss, was placed on the DL. this year, jose reyes, the mets star ss, was placed on the DL.

hopefully this trend stays the same, and the phillies choke down the stretch and the mets win the ws, but we will have to wait and see.
