Now that Kyle Orton gets the nodd for starting QB for denver and he has WR's to throw to and Jay Cutler's on the Bears with no #1 WR. Who will win more games in '09 and go to the playoffs.Give me some insight sports fans!!!

You have to ask...they are no more than an expansion team...Da Bears

June 14, 2009  07:55 AM ET

you bet... There is no way that the McDaniels run Broncos can win more games . The coaches attitude will destroy that team with his "I'm the boss at all costs" mantra. Let us not forget that the Broncos have no running game, and a pourous defense. Kyle Orton will fair well bur he will not be able to put up the 5000 + yards that the team will need to have a shot of making the playoffs.

I'd say this year will be one the Broncos fans will never want to remember. Top 5 pick is on the way to Denver next year.

Bears will only have to win 6 games to win this challenge.

The difference will be in the coaching and defense............I'm going with the Bears. McDaniels don't impress me.

Bears. Denver is a mess right now. So much new personnel, and I'm highly, highly skeptical that McDaniels will be a better coach than Shanahan was. I think the Bears double the Broncos wins.

Go Bears. The day after naming Orton the starter he threw 5 interceptions at practice. That's the bearded weirdo i know

June 16, 2009  12:45 PM ET

Bears.

And I don't think doubling the broncos wins is overly bold.
They don't have a particularly difficult schedule this season, but they'll likely finish 3rd in their division and I can see them struggling to get past 5 wins.

The Bears can shoot for at least 10 wins this year.

denver

Maybe the Denver Nuggets!!!!

Bears, they have a better division but they have a better team, with an actual defense. I would say that the broncos have a better running game, but you need to have a passing attack to run the ball. And with the addition of Forte the Bears are an actual running threat.

Yeah I cant see that happing, Denver has a tougher division. Its gonna take them sometime. The bronc's will be ok this year. 8-8 maybe or maybe back to 7-9 they still need to improve on that D. Imma Die Harded Bears fan. But I also like the Bronc's. Bears will do better then what expected..

so im going with DAAA BEARSSS

Well the Broncos went from having a great offense and a very bad defense to being middle of the pack at best in both areas. 8-8 is pretty much a best case scenario. But if Orton has the same issues on 3rd down he had last year it'll put a serious strain on the D. I'm thinking 6-10 is more likely Orton isn't gonna suddenly be an accurate QB. On the other hand the Bears went 9-7 and lost 3 games by 3 points last year without a number 1 Wide Receiver or a QB who could get the ball to the receivers we did have. Even with Orton and no top wideout we only lost 2 games by more than a TD. I see the Bears having a real shot at 11-5. So I'm thinking Bears by quite a bit.
