i will agree with you on this one the only player i have ever seen get love in Madden is Hester last year with the 100 rating in speed and Cutler is worth atleast a 93 he threw for 4500+ last year

Why all the Cutler love? This guy may look good yardage-wise, but he puts up a ton of picks too (54 TD-37 INT for his career). 87 puts him where he should be, a good QB but not one of the elite (Brees, Manning, Brady, etc).

Madden 10 still gave love to Urlacher and Briggs, and they were right to knock the secondary a few pegs down.

I hope the game play is better this year, in the past they have gone for presentation over gameplay on the new generation consoles...but then again we did only have one Pro Bowler, but damn...we should get some love...I bet you the Cowboys get much love!!!!!

We do? Where? I bet we have more haters than your team.........lol...even some of our own fans.
I bet you can't say that you have some fans who hate their own team, can you?.......:-)

Yeah, I know this is play station stuff, and I wouldn't know, since I quit doing those games when nintendo and atari was popular.

QUOTE(#12):

Good post, I do not hate the Cowboys...I think that they are vastly over rated...with the new stadium that Jerry Jones just built...what will be his next project...Mike Shanahan? If he could fire Wade Phillips now he would...if they get off to a bad start, Wade might be their next excuse...

I wish I could tell you, but Jerry Jones isn't in my circle of friends......lol........He should, however, consult me when he has decisions to make.......*laffin*

But, all joking aside, I couldn't agree more with what other people say about him, so I usually don't say anything, except agree. But, with that being said, some Cowboy fan will come and disagree with me, which happens.

What got me is when he said that "...even negative publicity is good for the Cowboys....." about the time he signed The Pac Rat, I think. He's still enamored over Owens, and I'd bet you a nickel he wishes he wouldn't have released him. But, hey, we need to go forward...we sure wasn't winning anything with him, just records, and it may continue that way. Or we may start with the 5-11's again, which is doubtful, but possible.

The coaching is another story. We'll have another one next year and I sure hope it's not Garrett, but whoever it is, will be another "yes" man. No, not Shanahan, Holmgren, or Cowher. He could have had Singletary, and I would have loved that, even if Mike had no HC experience. But, Jerry is a wannabe coach, and that won't change until Stephen inherits the team.

The only contribution that Madden makes to those idiot games is his name. If those idiot games ever determined a winner. When my sons were young, their skills on those games had
teams like Detroit, Kansas City and Cleveland winning championships. Keep toys where they belong. Lets watch professional football.
