NFL  > Denver Broncos  > What's the deal with Brandon Marshall?

Heard the rumor mill start up about BM, and I was wondering what kind of leader he was in the locker room and on the field. He obviously can put up good numbers, but how serious are his legal problems to the team? If he comes to Cleveland, what can we expect?

I'm just a fan, so can't really comment on his on/off field leadership - but BMarsh is a beast. The label Baby T.O. couldn't be more accurate - he is a bruiser, and works best after the catch. Unlike T.O., however - his success so far has been linked primarily to Cutler having tunnel vision on him. They both share the same mentality - that there simply is no one in the league that can stop them - and it was this swagger the Broncos lacked since Elway, and will continue to miss now that they're gone. It was also Cutler's downfall, lol - if you look at more than half his picks, it was because he had tunnel vision on BMarsh.

If Brandon goes to Cleveland, expect BMarsh to not get as much attention as he did in Denver - Quinn/Anderson just don't have the same mindset Cutler had, and will opt to throw a safe pass here and there, eliminating the big play ability for Marshall - he'll be an 80 catch, 1100 receiver over there. He won't reach his goal of 160 catches, 1800 yards he set out 2 years ago :)

If he lands in Cleveland (even though I expect the bears to make a serious move for him) you'll get an excellent talent. I have always believed that sometimes a change in atmosphere can do wonders for a player. Alot of them have moved on and not caused any more problems.
I also believe that people should be asking this question: How does Pat Bowlen hire a coach, give him all the power and not expect anything to happen? This entire offseason was completely avoidable because if he wanted a "checks and balance" office he should've hired a "seasoned" GM to help curtail any problems.
