I think if they put him in they should wait until atleast mid season. Word is he is developing faster than they exspected and McCown & Leftwhich arent doing a great deal better than Freeman is to keep the kid out of the race.

Seeing what Joe Flacco and Matt Ryan did last year, (which was amazing that even one guy performed like a veteran, much less two of them in one year), it's a crap shoot. Will they perform like that again? Chances are they will, but injuries and other intangibles could derail that.

You should know what you have with Leftwich and McCown. If these two perform like...oh..say...... Brad Johnson did in relief of Romo last year, then I'd say start the rookie. Your team needs to get off to a good start from the beginning.

With that being said, you know I cannot wish your team good luck the first game of the season....:-).....I can, however, wish them the best of luck after wards tho, and I will.

N0ds..

Even tho the 'Boys are my team, win, lose, or draw, I enjoy the game itself, and watch the other teams when I can. Besides, I have relatives in Tampa, and Orlando and if I disrespected the Bucs, they'd come get me........lol...........jk

PUT FREEMAN IN,START THE KID. ALL I HEAR IS THAT MCCOWN AND LEFTWHICH JUST ARE NOT IMPRESSING THE COACHING STAFF. AS A MATTER OF FACT SOME COACHES ARE SAYING THAT BOTH MCCOWN AND LEFTWHICH ARE SOMETIMES PREFORMING AS IF THEY WERE ROOKIES. SO I SAY WHY NOT.

They both are opposite eachother, Leftwhich issue is that he stays in the pocket and delivers the ball very slow, but on the possitive side he delivers the ball accurately and the deep bombs. Now McCown has his own issue, he'd still play scared, he throws the ball up for grabs with hope's he hits the right guy, he's very impatient tossing the ball in no covered zone, but his possitive side is he's quick and not affraid to run for that extra yrd, he kinda like Garcia in a good way. Now for the man of the hour Freeman, from what i hear he is the total package, he still has that McCown itch to were he's impatient but not as bad,on the positive side for Freeman is he delivers the ball accurately, in a timely fashion, not affraid to run, and also is a huge target and is very hard to take down, now the word is this kid is developing faster than exspected and he's also becomeing a lil more patient with his delivery, so i say give the kid the rock he can only do better than the 2 we are have to decide between.

I'm not sure how many teams McCown has been on, but Leftwich was cut by the Jags, and the Falcons didn't re sign him, for a reason. I really don't know what I would do, cause I haven't seen any of them work out, but I liked the way Ryan and Flacco played last year. It could also be a baptism by fire too. Some QB's get ruined by being thrown out from the get go. The Titans took their time developing McNair, so, I couldn't tell you which would be best for Freeman.

I'm not helping any, am I?......................lol

Yes you are homie any input can be helpful, makes me realize that what looks good in practice can look horrible in the game.

There ya go........but, either way, if Freeman can eventually do as Flacco or Ryan, then your team is set for the future, if not now.
