NCAAF  > General NCAAF  > TD cheats!!
July 2, 2009, 10:44 AM
my cousin is in a TD and asked me to join this site and look at it. i read it and agreed with his argument (not just because he is my cousin because me and him disagree a lot!) and it made him tied at 9 to 9. when i looked back now he is loosing 5 to 10. Does this site cheat, or is the other guy a hacker?

I got cheated out of a win yesterday by Gu3 is Adam Whackman Jones.

I was up one vote with like 5 minutes remaining in vote time, and he pulls 2 votes out of his A.S.S. at the last minute.

There was only 1 vote in the 15 hours before that, yet miraculously 2 votes appear right before voting ends.

That guy is a dizzouche.

Dupes & cheats are common. I don't participate for just that reason.... If you stick around and participate fairly, a lot of the old-time TDers will come to your defense against known dupes. But not always.

My advice would be to participate just for the fun of it, make the best argument possible, but not care about W/L record. Cheaters exist and you just have make a name for yourself among the good posters.

Why in the hell were the 1st three comments removed? I scanned this thread earlier. Don't remember exactly what they said, but I don't remember them being offensive.

Would guess they were known dupes and got axed.

I dont know any dupes, but I like take big poops

1. Dupes aren't the only "Cheat"

2. There are the TD vote recruiters (1 of the reason I quit accepting friend invites).

3. There is the friends route - they only vote if they are voting for their friend. Their friend doesn't need to win outright - just make it close is enough for them to vote for their friend with some semblence of false fairness.

4. Then there are cruddy tctics. My favorite I observed by an extremely active and successful guy who had a "Good" reputation. In this move, if his friend was winning after the 1st vote, he would comment what a slaughter it is and vote. If his friend was losing, he would comment about his friend losing but he wanted to see the rest of the arguments. If it was even, he would add supporting arguments to his friend and vote for him.

...and I am not evn counting that most of the lop sided TD records belong to guys who rarely make a TD (much harder making the 1st argument) but prey on easy pickings.

My personal feeling...
They mucked it up, they keep mucking it up, they can't self-police because most do at least 1 of the above... they deserve to have their corner of FN a waste.

You're right about that.

The worst current offended is "Pisco Bandito".

30 TDs --- ZERO that he started himself.

I called him out for just taking easy throwdowns from noobs and idiots off the board. I asked him to directly challenge me.
He could choose ANY topic whatsoever.
He refused saying that he prefers his "strategy" of only accepting weak throwdowns from the board.
It goes to show you that some people's lives are so empty that they would rather build or protect a meaningless throwdown record rather than have an honest sports debate.

Very sad and pathetic.

Yeah, TD's are really stupid. They looked interesting to me at first, but as soon as I got cheated out of one, I looked around the site and realized that a LOT of TD's are won by cheating.

The cheeseball vets on here that look out for each other, regardless of who had the best argument

The anusfaces that get their friends to vote for them when they are losing

The pathetic losers who make dupe accounts to ensure wins.

The funniest thing I've seen is a TD where both people used their multiple dupe accounts to vote for themselves. Dumb.
