The Cs barely got past ATL in the first round of there Championship year or Clevland in the 2nd without Shaq or Williams with KG. This was a younger healthy K.G that had the conf. locked up weeks b4 the playoffs even started and was resting long b4 the playoffs even started. Now 2 years later with a slow healing KG that needs to be 100%healthy the entire season to get home court advantage because u couldnt even win 1 away game in the first 2 rounds of your championship year. Now u think a Championship is gonna be handed to u now that u add a reserve to your roster . Ur Championship team in 07 was much better with Posey, P.J, etc... comming off the bench than Wallace and u think a Championship is gonna be handed to u with and Older slower unathletic team now u barely made it out of the first round in 07 then.

He is just mad because Orlando just blew the only chance they had a championship for the next few decades. Remember how they barely beat a team missing their top defensive guy and their top defensive bench man? Yeah.... well anyhow - Cs will probably face teh Cavs next year in the ECF and it will be interesting to see if O'Neil makes the big difference for them.
LA will most likely take the West, I dont see many teams putting up a fight given the injuries and player movements this off season.
Be nice to see the Cs beat LA again in the finals. Its a lot more likely than Orlando walking out of the first round of the playoffs...
Sheed is a good pick for the C's.
I disagree with the uppgrade1 assessment. They did win it all 2 years ago, and were short-handed last year.
I do think they need more upgrades, so in case someone goes down, they have a better bench to handle it.
With Shaq in Cavs and artest in LA, I do think they need to add someone else. Hopefully someone young, not another old player...

True indeed now ur being honest and i can respect that but what about my statement isnt true? Did Boston win it the year when Orlano and Clevland were weak or not? Is there just a minimun chance Boston could have lost in the first rd to AtL in the first round or not? Is it true that if Paul Pierce didnt out play Lebron in the 2rd which would probally never happen again they could have loss then without Mo or Shaq? Is it true that Boston no longer has the luxuary to rest 2 weeks b4 the playoffs any more? Is it true that K.G healed slower than a younger guy would have keep in mind there were no major injury? Is it true that even with Wallace on the bench they are no where near as deep as they were the championship year? Is it true that Boston beat a team that were over the hill in Detroit taht were forced to rebuild? Somebody please tell me i am making this up
Is it true that Wallace in the playoffs was = to Kg it was like he wasnt even there he had no legs

How can u not agree with facts?
It never matters if you barely win or blow people out. What matters is if you WIN. So enough of they barely got past ATL and Cleveland, You left out how they handled the Pistons and Lakers in 6 They got better as the playoffs went on. When they are healthy. The Celtics physical style wears on Teams. They are not THat Old and 3 key players in the rotation Rondo, Davis , and Perkins are actually YOUNG and getting better. Unathletic???? KG will bang it on jsut about anybody in the league and would you call Rondo and Ray Allen unathletic??? Pierce's Game is not beautiful to behold, but the results are. So in the end there is no Nostradamus in this thread, thier are alot of what ifs. But I will go on record as saying If The Celtics remain healthy They will beat Orlando or Cleveland in the ECF and then defeat The Spurs or Lakers in the Championship in a 7 game Thrilla. But hey we could also end up with Denver vs Hawks right ANYTHING IS POSSIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! ASK the Big Ticket!!!! oh and YANKEES SUCK YANKEES SUCK YANKEES SUCK!!!!

Kg is still on a bike. Who is athletic on the team? Rondo is a pretty athletic guy but thats it . Whats gonna happen if Old Boston plays young ATL in the first round this year . Boston will be wounded and tired and wont be able to keep up. Of corse Boston handled the Pistons that year but u guys have become what the Pistons were then too Old. At least the Pistons won 2 b4 there players started dropping

The Cs would have been better off hiring a strenth and conditioning coach then Rasheed
'Sheed was a good pick for the Celtics. The best players on that team are long in tooth, but that doesn't automatically disqualify them from title chatter. They are experianced, but that doesn't anoint them the best in the EC. The game is about match-ups. Right now, Cleveland doesn't want to see Boston in a seven game series. Their front court is slower than the Celtics. On the other hand Boston may want to avoid a second round match-up with the Magic. The Celtics are a smart team, and they have a damn good coach. I'm not too worried about the age of the team.
