We've seen plenty of miraculous eleventh-hour comebacks at every level over the years, but last week's furious final reel in a Minnesota high school game ranks pretty high on the list.
Jordan Larson, a senior wide receiver at St. Paul Central High, hauled in two touchdowns in the last five seconds of regulation to help the Minutemen force overtime against rival St. Paul Johnson, where they'd lock down a 25-18 victory and at least a share of the school's first St. Paul City Conference title in 20 years.
Minneapolis Star-Tribune reporter Michael Rand caught up with Larson on Monday.
What do you think? Have you ever seen a more impressive comeback with less time remaining in a game?

Having trouble staying awake through four-hour baseball playoff games? Don't worry, we have a remedy for your boredom and it's called pro football. But who are the NFL's most exciting players? We pored through hours of video to provide you with our choice of the five players guaranteed to give fans their money's worth. Here's our list of the five most exciting NFL players ...
1. Reggie Bush: Do you need a halfback to run between the tackles for a tough two-yard-gain? Bush is probably not your guy. But if you need a 71-yard punt return for a TD -- or a 64-yard one in the same game -- Reggie is the man for you. Bonus points for his not-so-ugly girlfriend Kim Kardashian.
2. Darren Sproles: Sure, LaDainian Tomlinson may get the majority of carries (and love from fantasy football owners), but we'd much rather watch the 5-foot-6 Sproles. Whether it's a 103-yard kickoff return or a simple screen pass turned into a 66-yard touchdown pass, Sproles makes us stand up and cheer.

Each day during the noon hour, we'll offer five reading recommendations from around the Web.
1. Twin Cities radio duo: Magic fakes having AIDS (By Paul Walsh, Minneapolis Star-Tribune): Co-hosts of a conservative talk radio show have drawn fire for saying Magic Johnson "faked AIDS." Nice! Media Matters comes through with the audio.
2. Facts about Manny Ramirez (By Joe Sheehan, Baseball Prospectus): The author contrasts fact with ... er, Tim McCarver.
3. Cuban: Financial crisis will slow Cubs sale (By Rick Morrissey, Chicago Tribune): The owner of the Mavericks, in Chicago on Thursday for his team's preseason game with the Bulls, told reporters the shaky economic situation will change the math in Tribune Company's sale of the Cubs.
4. Palin's puck drop shameful (By Larry Brooks, New York Post): Gov. Sarah Palin will drop the ceremonial first puck when the Flyers play their home opener Saturday as an homage to hockey moms. One writer thinks it's shameful.
5. Northwestern tickets a tough sell (By Teddy Greenstein, Chicago Tribune): The NU football team, unbeaten through five games for the first time since 1962, is struggling to put fannies in the seats.

Cole Hamels | The ace of the Phillies staff overcame some first-inning turbulence -- including an RBI double by Manny Ramirez -- before settling down and allowing just two runs in seven innings. Hamels outdueled Derek Lowe to lift Philadelphia to a 3-2 victory over Los Angeles in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series.
Evander Holyfield | He's one of the all-time greats, undoubtedly. But why is Holyfield taking a fight WBA heavyweight champ Nikolai Valuev in December. Holyfield, who took bronze at the 1984 Summer Olympics, will be 46 years old when he steps into the ring.
Derrick Rose | The No. 1 overall pick in the June draft overcame a slow start in his NBA debut, missing his first four shots before depositing a lay-up midway through the second quarter. The Chicago point guard finished with 10 points in 27 minutes, but the Bulls fell short in a 110-102 loss to the Mavericks.
