Sage Rosenfels | The Houston quarterback did everything but put a bow on the Colts' furious come-from-behind victory yesterday at Reliant Stadium. A pair of Rosenfels fumbles in a 2:10 span during the fourth quarter led to a pair of Indy touchdowns, helping the Colts become the first team in league history to win in regulation after trailing by 17 points in the last five minutes.

The Giants' offense | Doing just fine without Plaxico Burress thankyouverymuch. New York scored on its first five possessions and amassed 523 yards of total offense in a 44-6 thumping of the Seahawks yesterday at Giants Stadium. Eli Manning threw two touchdowns, Brandon Jacobs ran for two more and Big Blue improved to 4-0 for the first time since 1990.

Josh Beckett | Typically lights out during the postseason, Beckett suffered a rare dud in Game 3 of the ALDS against the Angels. The right-hander gave up a double to Chone Figgins on his first pitch and wound up surrendering nine hits and four runs in five innings -- after winning his previous five playoff starts with a 0.92 ERA. The Angels won 5-4 in 12 innings to stave off eliminiation.

Joe Blanton | Maybe Philly was right to deal for Blanton at the trade deadline instead of CC Sabathia, judging by their performances in the NLDS. Pitching on eight days' rest, Blanton blanked the Brewers until Prince Fielder's seventh-inning solo shot, setting the table for Philly's series-clinching 6-2 victory at Miller Park. The 27-year-old righty scattered five hits over six innings, fanning seven and walking none.

Fernando Torres | Liverpool's gifted striker came through Sunday when his team's unblemished '08-09 record was seriously threatened at Manchester City. Trailing 2-0 in the second half, Torres scored in the 55th and 73rd minutes to bring the Reds even. He almost scored a third but left those honors to teammate Dirk Kuyt, who sealed the improbable 3-2 victory with a 91st-minute winner. The victory kept still-unbeaten Liverpool level with Chelsea atop the English Premier League standings.

Rosenfels blew it again? i dont remember him being a quarterback expected to be a game saver. Did he blow a game before?? He may of blew the game but where is the coaching? why does sage even have the ball anyway. they are up by 21 the just over 4 minutes and they're throwing the ball??? Slaton should have the ball in his hands...The texans are a decent team, they just dont know how to close out games...BTW that Rosenfels jump, kind like the elway jump from The superbowl...except he lost the game, lost the ball and probably his jump...Again!
