• Noon, ABC: The Red River Rivalry between Oklahoma and Texas finds both teams ranked in the top five for the first time since 2004.
• Noon, Fox Soccer Channel: A pair of 2010 World Cup qualifiers: England hosts Kazakhstan at Wembley Stadium, while Euro 2008 champion Spain travels to Estonia at 2:30 p.m.
• 8:00 p.m., CBS: Fourth-ranked LSU travels to Gainesville for an SEC showdown with No. 11-ranked Florida.
• 9:00 p.m., Showtime: A double dip for fans of the sweet science. First, Antonio Tarver and Chad Dawson meet for a light heavyweight unification bout. Later, Samuel Peter and Vitali Klitschko fight for the WBC heavyweight title in the nightcap from Berlin, days after their pre-fight dustup.
• 10:00 p.m., TNT: The Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets meet for a preseason contest at the 16,000-seat Indian Wells Tennis Garden -- the first outdoor game in modern NBA history.
Sunday
• 10:00 a.m., Only if you're in NYC: It won't be televised. But if you're in midtown and up early on a Sunday, don't miss the first annual World Pizza Eating Championship at Military Island in the heart of Times Square.
• 8:15 p.m., NBC: SI.com's Adam Duerson has tabbed New England-San Diego as the Game of the Week. The hosts look to exact a measure of revenge on Sunday Night Football after getting eliminated by the Patriots from the '06 and '07 postseasons.

Unfortunately, boxing will be irrelevant until a talented guy like Klitschko faces someone who doesn't look like his abs are made up of jelly rolls. I would love to see boxing make a comeback, but until then I guess it's all NHL and MLS for me...(kidding, people)
